Lamborghini Urus to sport a turbocharged V8 engine

Lamborghini has confirmed that the Urus, a concept SUV first unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, will pack an exclusive twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 when it will go on sale in 2018.
Engineers at Lamborghini felt that performance at lower revs will be key for the Urus to excel as a true SUV and to assist this they’ve even equipped it with an all-wheel drive. Buyers will have exclusivity and only Lamborghini will have access to this unique engine.
Lamborghini’s Urus will roll off their new factory in Bologna and the initial target would be to sell 3,000 units after which the car maker would also consider building variations once launched.
