The designer of Lykan HyperSport, Anthony Jannarelly, has taken the wraps off his latest creation, the Jannarelly Design-1 roadster. Built in collaboration with Frederic Juillot, owner of carbon fibre parts producer Equation Composite, the car will be launched in Dubai in February 2016.
The pictures reveal a retro style roadster with proportionate overhangs, large wheels and a two-seater configuration. Noticeable styling elements include the crash hoops, giant red stripe across the middle and a massive underbody aero package both in the front and rear.
The cabin is a two-seater affair with a black dashboard and beige leather trim. Though it looks bare in the pictures, we expect a touchscreen infotainment system and climate control system as a part of the standard equipment.
It will be powered by a rear mid-mounted V6 mill which should be in the range of 2.8-litres to 3.5-litres making it quite a potent little vehicle. Body construction will comprise fibre glass, carbon fibre, aluminium built over a tubular steel frame.
