Delhi: Mahindra KUV100 is the newest product on offer in the Mahindra line-up.

Based on a monocoque chassis and offered in the sub four meter segment, new Mahindra KUV100 has been a major attraction ever since it was launched in India last month. Waiting period, which stood at 2 weeks have now been extended to 6 week due to increased demand.

Mahindra’s newest, most advanced, smallest, and most affordable four wheeler, Mahindra KUV100 has made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. Here Mahindra has brought in two variants, one is a regular top of the line K8 variant in bright yellow exterior colour, while the other one is a kitted-up variant called Mahindra KUV100 Explorer Edition.

The kits on offer with Mahindra KUV100 Explorer Edition are – rugged bumper add-ons, imposing wheel arches, edgy bonnet scoop, resilient side skirts, robust tail lamp protectors, stylish roof rails, impressive door side mouldings, and a sleek rear spoiler with LED.

Mahindra KUV100 is available in 7 variants that include K2, K2+, K4, K4+,K6, K6+ and the top-spec K8. Offered in 1.2 liter diesel and 1.2 petrol engine options, pricing ranges from INR 4.42 lakhs to INR 5.91 lakhs where petrol variants are concerned while diesel variants are priced from INR 5.22 lakhs to INR 6.76 lakhs.

Despite its diminutive size, Mahindra KUV100 boasts of aggressive character lines and SUV features such underbody plastic cladding, skid plates, roof rails and high ground clearance. Its front fascia is dominated by headlamp cluster, a rugged grille with chrome inserts and a muscular bonnet.

Measuring 3,675mm in length, 1,715mm in width, and 1,655mm in height , the KUV100 sits on a wheelbase of 2,385mm. It can comfortably seat upto 5 adults while with a new seating arrangement, a 6th passenger can also be accommodated in the front, if you have opted for the 3+3 arrangement.

Piano black inserts, a 3.5” infotainment display, mood lighting, Bluetooth with handsfree call, USB, AUX, Mahindra Blue Sense and a host of safety features that include ABS, EBD, puddle lamps, dual front airbags and rear defogger are also on offer on the KUV100.
