Datsun Go-Cross features, price in India Auto Expo 2016

Datsun Go-Cross Concept previews an upcoming crossover with 7 seat layout.Datsun Go-Cross Concept has made India debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. First unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, the crossover concept is Datsun’s idea of a cool, compact family car which has a sense of style, adventure and fun.

Boasting of high ground clearance, exteriors of the Datsun G0-Cross are seen with a hexagonal grille, LED fog lamps, silver chrome bumper and LED headlights. It also gets silver lower body cladding and roof rails besides silver diffuser and LED tail lamps.

There is no word on engine line-up, but we do expect it to be powered by a diesel engine. This could be in the form of Renault’s K9K 1.5 liter diesel engine in its 85 PS iteration. This engine is also seen on board the entry level Duster and Terrano in India. Transmission option will be in the form of a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Expected to be launched later in 2017, it will be priced about the existing Datsun Go+, but lesser than the entry level Renault Duster. Expect a starting price in the range of INR 6 lakh upon launch.
