Suzuki has unveiled new versions of Gixxer, Gixxer SF and Access 125 at the 2016 Auto Expo. New Gixxer and Gixxer SF gets dual disc brakes – one disc both at the front and rear. Apart from this, while Gixxer SF also gets a fuel injected version. Access 125 on the other hand gets increased mileage due to the addition of Eco Performance Technology. All three scooters on display are promised for launch in India during this calendar year itself.

Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF models see a host of onboard updates as compared to the standard models. The rear disc brake offers better stability and control during braking while proving to be highly efficient on all types of terrains.

The new Gixxer is being offered in new colour options besides the present colors. These include Metallic Lush Green / Glass Sparkle Black Dual Tone while the Gixxer SF gets color options of Candy Antares Red / Glass Sparkle Black Dual Tone.

Expect price of Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF with rear disc brake to be about INR 5,000 more than the existing counterparts. Whereas price of Suzuki Gixxer SF FI can be about INR 10-15,000 more.

Besides the addition of rear disc brake, Gixxer SF also gets revised MotoGP livery scheme. Both the Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF continue to be powered by the same 155cc air cooled, single cylinder engine offering 14.8 PS peak power and 14 Nm peak torque mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
