Fantastico hunt: Tata Civet, Tata Adore Rata Tiago for Tata Zica?

The Fantastico hunt has ended and Tata Motors has revealed the top three finalists – Adore, Civet and Tiago.After spending millions in creating the brand Tata Zica, Tata Motors decided to let go the name because it sounded too similar to the ‘Zika’ virus, which has been pronounced by some experts as deadlier then Ebola outbreak.

Thus as a CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility, Tata Motors gave up on the brand name Zica of their new car. In deciding the new name of their small car, Tata Motors asked for the help of their fans and existing customers.

The activity was named Fantastico Hunt. This resulted in Tata Motors getting engagement from 48 million enthusiasts, 12 million video views and over 37,000 different name suggestions. After going through each of those names, Tata Motors has finally revealed the top three contenders. And they are – Tata Adore, Tata Civet, and Tata Tiago.

Tata Motors is once again asking the help of their fans in deciding the name. You can vote for the name which you like most at http://madeofgreat.tatamotors.com/zica/fantastico-name-hunt The name with most votes, will be the name of new Zica.

Tata Zica is an all new small car which has been built on a modified Indica platform. Designed at their state of the art design centres in the UK, Italy and India, Zica is aimed at the young generation of car buyers. A global car, Zica is promoted by their new global brand ambassador, Lionel Messi.

Tata Zica will be available in a choice of two engine options. These are 1.2-liter Revotron 3-cyl petrol engine and 1.2-liter 3-cyl diesel Revotorq engine.

New Tata Zica or shall we say Tata Adore or Tata Civet or Tata Tiago will host a list of exciting segment first features and customization options.
