Last year Maruti Suzuki added a new base variant, top of the line RS variant and replaced the diesel lineup with SHVS technology. And now, in 2016 Maruti Suzuki has added a new automatic variant to the lineup. This new variant is Maruti Ciaz ZXi+ AT. Before this, those buyers who preferred buying automatic variant had to miss out on a few premium features, as it was only available with VXi+ and ZXi.

Maruti Ciaz features variants

The list of variants on offer with Maruti Ciaz are – VXi, VXi (O), VXi+, ZXi, VXi+ AT, ZXI+, ZXi+ RS, ZXi AT, ZXI+ AT, VDi SHVS, VDi (O) SHVS, VDi+ SHVS, ZDi SHVS, ZDi+ SHVS, ZDi+ SHVS RS.

This means, Ciaz’s 15 variants which are available in a bracket of just 3 lakh, are catering to a wider range of buyer preference as compared to the competition, giving them an edge over rivals. Maruti Suzuki would definitely love to end the dominance of Honda City, but do we see that happening anytime soon?
