Launched back in 2013, Ford EcoSport is the best-selling car from Ford in India. Also the first ever sub 4 meter ‘new’ SUV which went on sale in India, FOrd EcoSport is manufactured at Ford India plant in Chennai.
Up until now, there were hardly any cars in India which were competing with Ford EcoSport in terms of features, design, performance, etc. Last year Mahindra did launch TUV300, but that hardly had any effect on the sales of Ford EcoSport. But, same is probably not going to be true anymore with Maruti Vitara Brezza now on sale.

ver the past few days, many readers have emailed questions asking how the Vitara Brezza competes with the likes of Baleno or VW Polo or Figo Aspire. On paper, the Brezza does stack up well, but it will be difficult to give a definite answer unless we test drive the car, which will be happening soon as the media test drives are scheduled over the next couple of days.
