Volvo S60 Cross Country launched at RS 38.9 lakh in India
Price starts from INR 38.9 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai.Swedish car maker Volvo launched the new S60 Cross Country today in Inida. First unveiled last year at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, Volvo S60 Cross Country is offered only in Inscription trim and is about INR 2 lakh cheaper than the S60 Inscription trim.

It is powered by D4 2.5 liter five-cylinder diesel engine which generates max power of 190 hp at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 420 Nm at 1500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox which drives all four wheels via Volvo All Wheel Drive system with stability and traction control. The AWD system comes as standard on board the S60 Cross Country.
Rivals of Volvo S60 Cross Country include the likes of Mercedes C Class, BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and the new Jaguar XE. Surprisingly all four rivals are sold as CKD, while S60 CC is sold as a CBU, and even then is either cheaper or matches pricing of rivals.
