A peek into Toyota Fortuner features, price at Bangkok Motor Show 2016

New Toyota Fortuner will be launched in India by 2017.

At the ongoing 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand, Toyota is showcasing its newest full-size SUV Fortuner. Slated for launch in India in 2017, Thailand offers five variants: 2.8V 4WD AT, 2.8V 2WD AT, 2.7V 2WD AT, 2.4V 2WD AT and 2.4G 2WD MT.

Toyota Fortuner 2.8V variants are fitted with Bi-Beam LED projector headlights, auto Light Control System with Follow-me-home lights, an automatic Light Adjustable System, light guiding rear lamps, and side mirror with Welcome Light as standard features.

Other standard fittings include leather and synthetic leather seat upholstery, sport and power driver seat with adjustable front row seats, front sun visors, Tilt and Telescopic adjustable steering wheel, cruise control, back camera, and LED DRLs.

Both get power from a 1GD-FTV 2.8 litre diesel engine to for 130 kW and 450 Nm torque mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.7V 2WD AT is powered by a 2TR-FE 2.7-litre dual VVT-i petrol engine and returns 122 kW power, and 245 Nm torque mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 2.4 variants get power from a 2GD-FTV 2.4-litre diesel engine to return 110 kW and 400 Nm torque. The latter is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Toyota Motor Thailand launched its Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo in two colours, White Pearl CS and Attitude Black Mica a few days earlier.
