Powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0 litre MPi Nu four-cylinder petrol engine, the power unit returns 155 PS at 6,200 rpm and 192 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. Rear reclinable seats with 60:40 split-folding capability ensure boot capacity of 488 litres.

2016 Hyundai Tucson stands tall at 1,655 mm with width recorded at 1,850 mm. Length is measured at 4,475 mm and wheelbase stands at 2,670 mm. Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language dictates the exterior. Driving modes (normal, sports and eco) is standard on Executive.

On the exterior, both models sport slight variances. While Elegance front grille is in silver finish, Executive sports a chrome coating. Halogen projector headlamps are standard, and so is the reverse camera. Executive wears LED guide lights and DRLs.

2016 Hyundai Tucson Executive variant is available with front and rear fog lamps, chrome door handles, and electrically-operated folding side mirrors. Both variants run on 17-inch alloy wheels.

2016 Hyundai Tucson tailgate spoiler integrates a LED third brake lamp. On the inside, leather choices are in black, white nappa or red leather seats. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features manual telescopic-tilt adjustment.

Safety features include ABS with ESC, Hillstart Assist Control, Downhill Brake Control, Brake Assist System and Vehicle Stability Management. Dual airbags are standard. Executive variant is fitted with six airbags. Colour options include Pure White, Sepia Topaz, Pepper Grey, Platinum Silver, Ruby Wine, Ara Blue and Phantom Black.

2016 Hyundai Tucson Executive variant adds on more oomph with an eight-way power adjustable driver seat. Executive conveniences extend to electronic parking brake, rear air-con vents, driver side window with auto-up/down, automatic cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors.
