Tata Motors global sales up 11% in March

Hyderabad: Tata Motors on Monday reported a 11 per cent rise in global sales at 1,18,750 units in March, including that of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles. The company had sold 1,06,595 units in March 2015, Tata Motors said. Cumulative sales for this fiscal were at 10,66,254 units, higher by 8 per cent over the last fiscal. In the passenger vehicles category, global sales stood at 73,515 units last month as against 68,109 units in March 2015, up 8 per cent.Cumulative passenger vehicles sales in last fiscal were at 674,625 units, an upswing of 11 per cent year-on-year.
