The fully faired compact sportsbike has a doppelganger in the XGJAO XGJ350 concept (at least they could’ve come up with a better model name).

As you can see, the XGJ350 is a blatant copy of the R3. In an attempt to further spruce up the design, the company has added projector headlamps and quad exhaust canisters (two on each side). The color theme is also different from the original R3.
The Chongqing XGJAO Motorcycle Manufacture Co., is a part of a conglomerate called Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Co. The Chinese two-wheeler maker has a well-established track record of replicating internationally acclaimed two wheelers. The XGJ200 is a KTM Duke 200 rip-off and there are many such examples.
Coming back to the Yamaha R3 clone, the XGJ350 is powered by a 350 cc engine as against the original bike’s 321 cc engine. The details specifications are not revealed yet.

Like other replicas, the motorcycle will be pitched as the cheaper alternative to the original model.

The XGJAO XGJ350 would be aiming to cater only to the domestic market (one could hardly expect the bike to withstand copyright suits in the international markets), and would be pitched as a much cheaper alternative to the real deal.
