Bentley Bentayga owes its name to the black Spanish mountain peak – Roque Bentayga. The first top of the line model was reserved for the Queen of England.
Bentley Bentayga is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 twin turbocharged engine capable of 610 ps peak power at 5,000-6,000 rpm and 900 Nm torque at 1,250-4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 4.0 seconds while top speed stands at 301 kmph.
Sporting a signature Bentley grille, 20/22” alloy wheels, and a panoramic glass roof, the imposing Bentley Bentayga receives choicest interiors with plush leather seats, handcrafted wooden dashboard and panels and a state of the art infotainment system.
The carmaker has allotted just 20 units of the Bentley Bentayga for India for 2016. First customers will in all likelihood be current Bentley owners and brand aficionados while deliveries are slated to commence in June. The Bentley Bentayga will compete only with the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Autobiography edition.
