VolksWagen Polo ALLSTAR in testing stage
The ALLSTAR edition celebrates the UEFA Europa League.The VW Polo ALLSTAR special edition which was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year has been spotted testing in India. The limited edition hatchback is a part of the German automaker’s campaign to promote the 2016 UEFA Europa Championship, the continent’s largest league football championship.

The limited edition hatchback is a part of the German automaker’s campaign to promote the 2016 UEFA Europa Championship, the continent’s largest league football championship.
The ALLSTAR edition incorporates several additional features such as an exterior package which includes tweaked headlamps, new fog lights, silver metallic paint job, custom 15-inch ‘Linas’ alloy wheels, ALLSTAR badging on the B-pillar and so on. The Euro-spec variant also adds a winter package which is not likely to be offered in India.
The winter pack adds heated windshield washer nozzles, headlamp cleaner and heated seats. Upgrades to the interior include ALLSTAR branded sill plates and standard Climatronic AC.
The Polo ALLSTAR edition is available with the 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol motor. While the motor is offered with a 6-speed manual transmission in Europe, the Indian special edition car is likely to stick with the GT-spec 7-speed DSG. The direct injection engine delivers 110 PS and 200 Nm of torque.
The VW Polo ALLSTAR edition is expected to be launched in India sooner than later. It will be targeting the nation’s football fans.
