The Black Edition, as the name suggests, gets all-black interiors, black wing mirror caps, black fog lamp bezels, 16-inch alloy wheels with black finish, and black roof rails. The special edition model is available in three trims – Trend Plus, Titanium and Titanium Plus.

The EcoSport Black Edition is offered with two petrol and one diesel engine options like the regular model. The 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine is mated either to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed PowerShift automatic transmission to produce 112 PS and 140 Nm of torque. The 1.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine belts out an impressive 125 PS and 170 Nm of torque when mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.5-litre TDCI diesel motor produces 100 PS and 205 Nm of torque and employs a 5-speed MT.

The Ford EcoSport Black Edition Titanium Plus variant is equipped with SYNC 2.0, six airbags, ABS with EBD, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, signature light guide, daytime running lights, electrochromatic mirror, push button start and so on.
