Having covered 1 million miles in his Toyota Tundra with no difficulty whatsoever, is due to the fact that Sheppard has been regular in maintenance. The Tundra still sports its original engine and transmission along with its original paint. Toyota’s North America division has hence decided to present Sheppard with a brand new model to celebrate this Toyota Tundra accomplishing so many miles, being so well maintained and sporting original parts and paint.

Over past 9 years, Sheppard has been particular about maintenance. He has visited the Toyota dealer over 117 times, ensured timely checkups and oil changes besides replacement of key parts such as timing belt, etc, due to which the Toyota Tundra has served him well.

Victor Sheppard became an unwitting Facebook marvel as friends of Greg LeBlanc Toyota followed his 2007 Tundra trek to hitting 1 million miles.
Besides a few dents on Tundra exterior, interiors are in perfect condition right down to seat covers which look just the same as the day Sheppard bought the vehicle. It is for all these reasons that the company decided to replace the 2007 Toyota Tundra for a new 2016 model. This will be Sheppard’s 16th Tundra while the company will be surveying the 1 million miles Tundra to see how its various components catered to the demands of daily driving.
