The modification involves extensive stickering.Release of a Rajnikanth starrer is nothing short of a festival in South India. Posters, marketing stunts, and branding gimmicks will be omnipresent in the weeks preceding to the movie’s premiere. The build up is taken to the next level with the Kabali which is set to release on July 22nd.

After the movie’s airline partner Air Asia unveiled the Kabali liveried aircraft it’s now a South Indian Maruti dealer’s turn. Meet the Maruti Swift Kabali edition.

Modified at the dealer level, the Swift Kabali edition is swathed with Kabali posters and dialogs that were revealed by the viral teaser. The bonnet, roof, front fenders and doors are fully covered with decals. The rear fascia sports the dialogs in Tamil.

The interior appears to have been left intact. To be honest, the decal job looks a bit tacky and in-your-face but we won’t be surprised if there is a competition among customers to buy this car. Anyway, we think it would be successful in drawing more footfall into the dealership.

Meanwhile, Maruti has also quietly slipped in an official special edition called Swift DLX which is available in select regions. The DLX is based on the entry level variant and offers several additional goodies at a discounted rate.
