Renault India’s YoY growth rate for July 2016 in the domestic market stood at 609.8% which looks mighty when presented alone but in previous July, the French automaker managed to sell only 1,686 units in India. Last month’s figure was 11,968 units.

Honda Cars India didn’t have a positive month like Ford and Renault. The Japanese car maker registered sales of 14,033 in the domestic market last month but the previous July was much better with sales of 18,606 units. In July 2016, the Honda also exported 212 units from India.

The City, Jazz and BR-V were the top sellers for the brand but the City’s popularity has been dwindling steadily over the last few months. The company is expected to introduce the comprehensive facelift early next year.
