The VS400 appears to be based on the beefed up version of Pulsar 200 series’ perimeter frame. Unlike the concept which was equipped with an upside down telescopic front suspension, the final production version opts for a regular telescopic unit.

The rear gets a gas charged monoshock. This particular test mule employs disc brake at each wheel, front disc clearly shows the ABS rings on the disc.

The fuel-injected liquid-cooled engine which is likely to share the architecture with KTM’s 373.2 cc unit would benefit from Bajaj’s triple spark technology. The power output is estimated to be around 35 PS, while GVW is at 332 kgs.

The Bajaj Pulsar VS400 appears to have a relaxed riding stance typical of a tourer. The semi-low slung stance attempts to offer best of cruiser and motorcycle words. The headlamp is a LED cluster of 7 LEDs and 1 halogen lamp.

Bajaj is expected to price the VS400 at around INR 1.5 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the base variant. It will be rivaling the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan, Mahindra Mojo, KTM Duke 390, etc.
