The company is now getting ready to launch next generation Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0, that is actively being tested. The render is based on the spy images of R15 3.0.

The render shows Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 in a new color scheme. Apart from cosmetic updates, engine too is expected to be more refined than before. New generation Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 will receive a new racing blue color along with the grey and red and white color combinations.

Spied at a dealership in Indonesia, updates included new body panels and a digital instrument cluster with blue backlights. It was also seen with upside down front forks and new LED headlamps. It will borrow some elements from the M-Slaz which will include a lowered pillion seat, wheel design, exhaust and other visual cues.

Slated for India launch in 2017, the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 will continue to be powered by a 149 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. This engine is currently capable of delivering 16.7 bhp peak power at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine could be tweaked for added power and performance aboard the R15 V3, but will continue to be mated to a 6 speed transmission.
