Promoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ program, made in India Datsun GO+ has commenced exports to South Africa. Produced at the Renault Nissan Alliance plant in Oragadam near Chennai, Datsun GO+ marks its entry into South Africa furthering the company’s market position and enhancing Datsun’s global presence .

Datsun GO+ is priced at INR 3.95-INR 5.04 lakhs in India. It is presented in the compact MPV segment and though offered as a 7 seater vehicle it is ideally suited as a 5 seater with added storage space.

Datsun GO+, Datsun GO, Datsun redi-GO and Nissan Sunny are also exported from the company plant in Chennai to over 106 global markets. The redi-GO went on sale in Nepal in July and has also entered markets of Sri Lanka in August.

New Datsun GO+ has played a major role where company sales in India are concerned. It rolls out from the company’s Chennai plant that has the capacity to produce to produce over 4,80,000 units per year.

The facility offers employment to 40,000 direct and indirect employees and is a leading contributor to local economy. The Datsun GO+ is regaled for its interior comforts and attractive pricing and instantly appeals to first time buyers.
