EgoSecureGermany-based EgoSecure GmbH, an endpoint security solutions firm, on Tuesday said it would soon set up its facility in the city with an investment of over one million dollars. The company also announced its foray into the Indian market by launching EgoSecure Endpoint solutions in the city. "The facility which will employ over 30 professionals will contribute to our global research and development activities besides support the marketing efforts in India," Sergej Schlotthauer, CEO, EgoSecure, told media persons here. Currently, EgoSecure serves over 1,300 corporate customers and others across Europe. The company, which has began its expansion outside Europe since 2012 now has global revenues of Euro 10 million. Pointing out that the company had significant market share in Europe, the CEO expressed confidence that the company would replicate similar success in India. "We are keen on India as we think that it is a good platform for our foray into the Asia-Pacific region. The Indian security market is estimated to be around $250 million for 2013 with an annual growth rate of 16-17 per cent. EgoSecure aims to capture 10 to 15 per cent of the market share in the next couple of years," Schlotthauer said. The company used the occasion to announce Zoom Technologies as its exclusive all-India distributor. "EgoSecure Endpoint provides true next generation protection to the organization, securing it from data loss as well as protecting against viruses and malware. This comprehensive product is the need of the hour for all Indian companies, many of which have been in the news recently for security breaches and data loss," said M H Noble, CEO, Zoom Technologies India.
