NTT Data opens SAP lab in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: NTT Data, an IT services provider, on Monday opened a SAP Solutions Lab in the city. Set up to support the company’s growing SAP services business, this innovation lab is expected to build best-of-breed solutions based on SAP HANA platform using next generation technologies

“We are excited by the launch of this SAP lab in India and delighted that our focus on SAP is well recognized by the industry, our clients and the growing SAP talent base in the country. This lab will enhance our level of innovation to our client base worldwide, and provide more opportunities for our India-based employees to work on niche and global projects,” said Robb Rasmussen, President, NTT Data’s Enterprise Services.

The new lab will deliver a wide gamut of SAP solutions, spanning from SAP ERP to latest technologies such as SAP HANA and SAP FIORI. It will also focus on solving real business process issues to enable faster decision-making for clients in various industry verticals such as discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing, life sciences, retail, BFSI and utilities.

”This centre will provide a strong platform for building capabilities and competencies around the new suite of SAP products as well as innovating new solutions for various industry verticals. We chose Hyderabad for the SAP Solutions Lab because the city is a major IT destination with software exports to the tune of Rs 40,000 crore, as well as a large pool of talented software professionals,” said S Praveen Padala, Vice President, SAP Practice, NTT Data.
