Taking the government’s wish forward, the Walmart’s BestPrice, a wholesale stores, is selling best quality tur dal (red gram) at a fixed price of Rs 135/kg, to its members, including kirana merchants.
Hyderabad: Taking the government’s wish forward, the Walmart’s BestPrice, a wholesale stores, is selling best quality tur dal (red gram) at a fixed price of Rs 135/kg, to its members, including kirana merchants. In a release, Walmart India CEO Krish Iyer said, “In order to reduce the effect of price volatility of pulses, we are selling the tur dal at Rs 135/kg.”
This how we contribute to the inflation control measures, especially during the festival season, he added. All its members, including kirana merchants in AP and Telangana will be offered at that price. Best Price stores are located in Gutur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry and Hyderabad. The rates will be applicable till the next government review, the release added.
