Kalyan Jewellers launches mini diamond stores in Telangana
In a bid to bring diamonds to the reach of semi-urban and rural womenfolk, the Kalyan Jewellers has announced converting its 14 ‘My Kalyan’ customer service centres into mini diamond stores across Telangana.
Hyderabad: In a bid to bring diamonds to the reach of semi-urban and rural womenfolk, the Kalyan Jewellers has announced converting its 14 ‘My Kalyan’ customer service centres into mini diamond stores across Telangana. This will enable the company to penetrate into the deep markets offering a range of diamond jewellery including earrings, pendants, necklaces, rings and nose pins with a price range from Rs 8,000 to Rs 25,000.
TS Kalyanaraman, CMD of Kalyan Jewellers said, “We expect our affordable diamond portfolio to contribute Rs 100 crore in the new financial year. The transformation of ‘My Kalyan’ stores into mini diamond stores will make us one of the largest diamond chains in Telangana.”
Further, the company said that it plans to increase the size of its My Kalyan stores, from present 630 to 1,000 across the country by end of 2017 and also roll out the affordable diamond concept in all of these stores in a phased manner. The company has a network of 86 exclusive showrooms including 13 exclusive outlets in West Asia — including ten in the United Arab Emirates and three in Kuwait.
