Hyderabad: IT Minister KT Rama Rao portrayed Telangana a potential hub for rapid growth and speedy development with a focus on infrastructure and facilities. Hyderabad, the capital city of the State will soon surpass others to become number one in IT sector, he exuded confidence.

Addressing a meeting with 25 major infrastructure and construction companies here, the Minister asked them to invest in Telangana by taking all necessary support from the government.

Detailing about the major projects and flagship programs of the government KTR claimed that Telangana registered a growth in software industry at 16 per cent surpassing the national growth that is pegged at only 13 per cent.

Besides giving adequate land, the government will offer permissions and support to the companies coming forward with investments he said. So far we are in forefront to attract investments and will do so KTR said adding that noted world majors evincing to open up their shops here are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon planning to open their big campuses here.

We are setting up big IT parks, Electronic manufacturing units even as several mobile, Television and LED manufacturers came forward to invest and open their business which will provide jobs to local talent and boost our state economy, the IT Minister stated.
