Union Minister of Finance, Government of India, the Hon’ble Mr Arun Jaitley, would be speaking at the SP Jain School of Global Management’s Sydney campus on March 29th, 2016. The Minister is leading a high-powered business delegation from Confederation of Indian Industry. The speech at the SP Jain Business School will be the Finance Ministers first official engagement in Australia.

Confirming the same, Nitish Jain, President, SP Jain School of Global Management said, “ As an internationally ranked B School of Indian origin, we are delighted to have been chosen as the partner for this visit. We welcome the Finance Minister and his delegation and are grateful to all the partners for choosing SP Jain Global's Sydney campus for this rare honour.”

The School is working in close consultation with the Indian High Commission and Consulate. It is also working with 3 partners for the event: the Confederation of Indian Industries [CII], Ernst & Young [E&Y] and the Australia-India Business Council [AIBC].

The School is internationally ranked and has campuses in Dubai, Singapore and Sydney.

Given the importance of India-Australia relations that was especially flagged during PM Modi’s visit to Australia, this visit by FM Jaitley to Australia holds special significance. FM Jaitley’s speech and the business delegation he is leading is an emphatic assertion of India’s keenness in engaging more strongly with Australian business and industry.
