Hyderabad: City-based Invilogic Software on Wednesday joined hands with MHP, a German-based Porsche company, to offer automotive and manufacturing design solutions to their customers.

Under the deal, these companies will jointly develop design automation technologies that will reduce design time by more than 90 per cent for automobile and manufacturing industries. They also bet big on car designing and look to tap designing opportunities in the Indian auto industry.

Enit Invilogic GmbH, a German subsidiary of Invilogic, will also be a part of this deal and the solutions developed by these companies integrate design automation (DA) technology to automate product development.

“With so much of complexity, variety, time and cost pressures on design department, knowledge-based engineering combining artificial intelligence and programming can bring in design automation which can reduce 90 per cent of design efforts and expenses,” Siddharth Durairajan, CEO, Invilogic Software, told the media here.

We are truly excited at this collaboration with MHP to create exciting new knowledge-based engineering (KBE) solutions for the automotive and manufacturing industry, he added.

“We believe Invilogic’s tremendous design automation capabilities both in India and Germany will complement our growth and customer consulting strategy across markets and industries,” said Michael Kirchgässner, Head of R&D Transformation, MHP Invilogic has so far invested $1.5 million for its product development programmes in India in last three years.

“We are planning to invest $2 million more and will meet the funding requirements through internal accruals,” Sreenivasa Musani, Promoter Director, Invilogic Software.
