Boy enacts kidnap drama
The kidnap of an Intermediate student turned out to be fake, as the student enacted drama to bunk the college. According to police, a first year Intermediate student studying in a corporate college here at NAD Cross Roads, Mohammed Moinuddin enacted his own kidnap drama. Moinuddin as usual left the house in the morning but not went to the college.
Visakhapatnam: The kidnap of an Intermediate student turned out to be fake, as the student enacted drama to bunk the college. According to police, a first year Intermediate student studying in a corporate college here at NAD Cross Roads, Mohammed Moinuddin enacted his own kidnap drama. Moinuddin as usual left the house in the morning but not went to the college.
The college management called up Moinuddin’s father and informed that the student is not attending to the college regularly. Stunned by the information, Moinnuddin’s father Gouse went to the college for enquiry.
Meanwhile, Gouse received a message from his son's phone number in which Moinuddin informed that some miscreants kidnapped him. Worried with the message, Gouse lodged a complaint with police. The police started a man-hunt with the help of the Moinuddin's mobile phone signals.
Finally, the police found that the boy is at Kothavalasa which is in Vizianagaram district and close to Pendurty area of Visakhapatnam city. During the investigation, police found that the boy had enacted a kidnap drama with the help of a few others to bunk the college.
The police sources said that three weeks ago Moinuddin was beaten up by a group of people alleging that the boy allegedly harassed a girl. Since then, the boy was not going to the college regularly. Police confirmed that they traced the boy and further investigation is on.
