Hyderabad: Mobile handset maker Motorola India on Wednesday signed an agreement with BigC, a mobile retail chain in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and Lot Mobiles, a group of personalised mobile stores, to strengthen its retail presence in the region through Moto Hub stores
The company also opened its first Moto Hub, a retail kiosk, in Hyderabad in partnership with BigC, marking its foray into brand retail space in the two Telugu states.

As part of its strategy to provide easy access to customers in India and consolidate its offline presence, the mobile handset maker plans to open Moto Hubs at over 185 BigC stores and 140 Lot Mobiles stores across 55 cities in Telugu states.

“Our customer centric strategy has helped us immensely and we have received an overwhelming response to Moto Hubs across the country. With the launch of first ever Moto Hub in partnership with BigC, we aim to provide access to Motorola’s premium product experience to the people of AP & Telangana,” said Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India.

The Moto Hub store will house the entire portfolio of Motorola devices, including the online exclusives like moto e4 plus and the popular Moto G families as well as Moto Z franchise and Moto MODs. They will also house Motorola accessories like on-ear and in-ear headphones, moto shells and covers.
