Hyderabad: City-based ProYuga Advanced Technologies has launched its Virtual Reality Cricket Sport (vSport) ‘iB Cricket’ at the UP summit in the presence of President of India, Ram Nath Kovind.

Union Minister for IT and Electronics Ravi Shankar Prasad unveiled the custom made electronic bat in the presence of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and others. iB Cricket will be available in global market in April 2018.

Trivikram Reddy, CEO ProYuga Advanced Technologies, said: “The landscape of eSports and VR is experiencing a transformation. It is overwhelming to witness the unparalleled commitment shown by UP government & iB Hubs towards nurturing a robust and vibrant startup ecosystem.”

The founder of Proyuga, Vasanth is an alumnus of IIIT-H and Trivikram, CEO, is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. ProYuga is supported by iB Hubs, a PAN India Startup Hub, which was launched in November 2016 by Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog.

Alekhya, CEO iB Hubs, said: “We are happy to support young startups like ProYuga to come up with world-class innovations. In the future as well, iB Hubs will assist such committed startups and we are confident that with the system developed by us, Indian startups can expand globally within six months.”

iB Cricket aims to benefit over one lakh members by opening 25,000 franchises across India. “We plan to have a simultaneous launch of the product in 25 different countries. We are highly positive about its potential and are sure that it will be played and enjoyed by a large audience globally” Trivikram added.
