Among all the Green card applicants in USA, India takes the baton for highest number of applications, followed by China, as per reports released by USCIS. This is excluding dependent visa applicants.

According to the current USA laws, the government cannot approve more than 7% of applications per country - this law is most disadvantageous for India. According to calculations, applicants in line may get an approved green card 92 years after applying fo it, due to the sheer number of people waiting in line to get theirs every year.
