New Delhi : Garmin India, a unit of Garmin Ltd., the market leader in satellite navigation and GPS products, has launched communities of amateur runners, athletes who seek professional guidance and know-how to run in marathons. It calls these, 'Running Clinics'.

This launch has been across the three Indian metro cities, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. Well-=known names like Ankita Gaur1, Dr. Kaustubh RadkarKeyur2, Gaurav Arora3, & Deepak Oberoi4, Through their invaluable experience and expertise will nurture, support and guide the community members of the 'Running Clinics'. 'Clinics' implies a community of aspirants, who wish to enhance their skills on something specific like running marathons etc.

The coaches will specifically deepen the understanding on the following areas:-
• How GPS helps measure effective run & elevation.
• How VO2 Max & Lactic Threshold can be improved with Interval training.
• Importance of heart-rate during the run.
• Role of Fitness Age, Training Load, Recovery Advisor etc.
