Tirupati: The State-level conference of United Teachers Federation will be held in Tirupati from April 27. The meet would discuss a wide range of problems plaguing the educational sector. The conference may adopt several resolutions and the focus of debate would be on threats being faced by the educational sector. On the eve of three-day State-level conference, Prof. W Rajendra, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University, released the poster here on Friday.

Y Srinivasulu Reddy, MLC, said that this conference will prepare a road map and an action plan to elevate the education sector. In all, 20,000 teachers will attend the three-day conference, which will be conducted at the Sri Venkateswara University Stadium.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will be chief guest and Ministers Galla Aruna Kumari, Parthasaradhi, Sailajanath and MP Dr Chinta Mohan, MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and others will attend, he said. CPM leaders Sitaram Yechuri and BV Raghavulu, CPI leader Dr K Narayana, TDP MLA Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy and leaders from the Lok Satta will attend the conference, he said.
