Vijayawada: Floral tributes were paid to Dr BR Ambedkar to mark his 68th death anniversary by AP Transco CMD and AP Genco MD K Vijayanand here on Thursday.
APSEB SC/ST Employees Welfare Association organised a programme on the occasion at Vidyuth Soudha. AP Transco JMD vigilance P Umapathi, AP Genco directors Adinarayana, Nageswara Rao, Mohan Rao, Chandrasekhar Raju, officers and other staff members and union leaders participated in the programme in large numbers.
On the occasion they recalled the great work of BR Ambedkar who was the architect of the Indian Constitution and for uplifting the downtrodden.
The programme was attended by APSEB SC, ST employees welfare association leaders Sarveswara Rao, Jayakar Ram, Somasekhara Rao and other members.
