Poornima back after three years

Yesteryear heroine Poornima, remembered for her role in ‘Srivariki Premalekha’ has made a comeback after three years. She hopes to act in more films in the coming years. Talking to media at the ‘Manushulatho Jagratha’ unit press meet in Visakhapatnam on Monday, she remarked how two other artistes from the Steel City – ‘Kallu’ Chidambaram and Gollapudi Maruthi Rao – are not doing many movies now and she is the only person representing the city in Tollywood now. “I have a guest role as a doctor in ‘Manushulatho Jagratha.’ It is an important role and I am sure fans will appreciate me,” she said.

Director Govind Varaha said that the film is a non-stop entertainer that revolves around self-centred people and the ills in the society. Vidarsha and Akshaya Tej play the lead roles. Music is by Pranav and the film is produced by Chiranjeevulu Naidu. The film is likely to release in late November or early

December.
