Film actor Salman is one of the respondents the petitioner has named submitting that the actor has been hosting the show. The petitioner has urged the court to impose ban on the show and declare the action of the respondents as illegal.

He contended that the picturisation of “Heaven” (Jannat) and “Hell” (Jahannam) in the show is hurting the sentiments and emotions of every Muslim.
He submitted that in Islamic view, Heaven and Hell are quite different from the said reality show, which was tarnishing the image of Islam and its culture.
