With her career on a downward spiral of late, actress Charmee Kaur is ecstatic about her role in ‘Pratighatana’. The film sees Tammareddy Bharadwaj returning to direction after his social drama ‘Pothe Poni’ six years ago.

Charmee who plays a journalist in the film says the shooting of the film has come to an end. “If shooting for the film was a task, dubbing for my character Nishchala turned out to be a different task altogether.

I had to mouth pages of dialogues for my role and had to hold command over Telugu. I’m a rebel who fights for a rape victim (played by Reshma). It’s a bold movie,” she smiles.
