Sonakshi, Suriya song for Lingusamy movie?
Bengali babe Sonakshi Sinha is keen to shake a leg with Tamil actor Suriya. There were reports that Sona was approached to star in a song with Suriya in his untitled film to be directed by Lingusamy. Now, the buzz in the Kollywood circles is that Sona is keen on grabbing the offer.
However, the director clarifies that Sona is yet to sign the dotted line. "We did approach Sonakshi for a special song, which is not an item number in the film. She really liked the song and was interested to do it, but she hasn't signed on the dotted line yet," Lingusamy said.
Lingusamy's film is being shot mostly in Mumbai. And if things fall into place, the special song featuring Suriya and Sonakshi may be shot in the same place.
The film stars Suriya Sivakumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Manoj Bajpai and Vidyut Jamwal in important roles.
