Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar's son Shivarajkumar came to Hyderabad to pay his last respects to legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao who passed away in Hyderabad yesterday. The veteran actor was battling cancer.
Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar's son Shivarajkumar came to Hyderabad to pay his last respects to legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao who passed away in Hyderabad yesterday. The veteran actor was battling cancer.
It's worth mentioning here that Shivanna (Shivrajkumar) and Nagajuna's father were contemporaries in two different industries. Interestingly the two have even reprised each other's roles in movies. On the other hand, Shivanna and Nagarjuna endorse the same brand - Kalyan Jewellers for their respective states..jpg)
Remembering ANR as a father figure, Shivanna said: "His (Nageswara Rao) death is not only a loss for Telugu industry, but it is a big loss to Indian cinema. My father and he used to be great friends. Whenever he would come to Bangalore, he would take out time to meet my father. My father did the same when he went to Hyderabad," Shivraj Kumar said.
The actor offered his heartfelt condolences to Nagarjuna while he paid homage to the departed actor.
