Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan Audio Release on March 9. The audio of the much awaited Kochadaiyaan is expected to be launched at any one of the famous multiplexes in Chennai on March 9. It is also learnt that both the Tamil and Telugu albums will be launched on the same occasion. On the very same day, the trailer of the film will be released as well.

The first trailer of the highly anticipated Tamil period film ‘Kochadaiyaan’, starring superstar Rajinikanth has been unveiled on September 10, last year. The film, which will mark the directorial debut of the 62-year-old actor's daughter Soundarya R Ashwin, narrates the story of an 8th century Pandiya King, Kochadaiyaan Ranadhiran.
‘Kochadaiyaan’ is touted to be India's first motion capture technology (MOCAP) film being made along the lines of Hollywood films like 'Avatar', 'Polar Express' and 'Tintin'.
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who is the leading lady of the film, is missing from the first trailer.
The music has been composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman. Rajinikanth himself has also lent his voice in one song in the film. 'Kochadaiyaan' will be dubbed and simultaneously released in Telugu (as 'Vikrama Simha'), Malayalam, English, and Hindi.
