Radhika to play Venkyʼs wife?

On a high with the success of ‘Legend’, a c - tress Radhika Apte seems to be finding her foothold in the industry, finally! Having made her debut in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Rakhta Charitra’ nearly four years ago, the actress has found few takers.

However, the situation seems to be changing for the Maharastra girl after her recent outing in ‘Legend’. Going by the buzz, the actress is tipped to play Superstar Venkatesh’s wife in ‘Oh My God!’ remake. While many names have done rounds in the past, including that of Nayantara, it is heard that one of the producer, Suresh Babu, has managed to take Radhika into confidence for the film. While the original Hindi flick had no great scope for Paresh Rawal’s wife, it is heard that director Dolly, who will direct the Telugu version, has made necessary changes to give Radhika’s role more meat.

Producers are yet to make an official statement regarding the actresses’ participation in the flick, which is expected to go on floors from late May. Pawan Kalyan will play Lord Krishna in the film..
