Actor Prakash Raj Alleges FOUL PLAY, Amidst reports that MAA (Movie Artistes Association) may ban him for his unprofessional behavior on the sets of Mahesh Babu-starrer ‘Aagadu’.

Amidst reports that MAA (Movie Artistes Association) may ban him for his unprofessional behavior on the sets of Mahesh Babu-starrer ‘Aagadu’, actor Prakash Raj has finally broken his silence on Friday in Hyderabad. Speaking to media persons, the actor said that he indeed has shot for the film for a day before deciding to quit it, though mutually. “I’ve shot for my portions on the day I was asked to drop by the sets. Later director Sreenu Vaitla and I had creative differences; hence I opted out of the film. I was happy with the decision and Vaitla too expressed no qualms. However, as the days progressed, the issue was blown out of proportion by some vested interests,” he said and added that he has indeed received a letter from MAA, seeking his explanation. “I never thought of coming to the media to put my point as MAA was going through the motions but my followers on Facebook and Twitter expected me to respond.”

The actor said that he is upset with the way the Director’s Association (DA) has handled the whole episode. “DA thought of taking action against me without even taking my version. And some people from the association even started messaging that Prakash Raj would be banned.” Stating that he is not bigger than cinema and that he is where he is today because of directors, writers and producers, the actor added that he calls a spade a spade and that he has seen the most number of bans across the country. “Controversy is my surname,” he smiled.

He alleged foul play by one individual who he didn’t name. “I know who is behind this whole episode. To hide his liability and to flee from this scenario, he has taken the help of three other people and lodged baseless complaints against me. After this press brief, he would be out in the open for sure,” he asserted. “I’m putting my version to MAA. I’m even attaching a video to prove my innocence. If MAA finds that I was at the wrong side, I will accept their verdict. I have nothing to hide.” The actor didn’t take any questions from the media.
