Karthika Nair stages a comeback

Karthika Nair, who had a rather shaky start to her Tollywood career, is not done yet. The leggy lass last seen in ‘Dammu’, has been roped in to play a crucial role in actor Allari Naresh’s next with ‘Veedu Theda’ director Chinni Krishna. This is not the first time that the actress has been approached for a Naresh-starrer. In the past, she has declined a host of movies alongside the actor.

A source close to the casting says, “Radha’s elder daughter will not be romancing Naresh in the film, but instead falls in love with the film’s antagonist. She will be performing dare-devilry stunts for the film which will be a typical Naresh entertainer.” Monal Gajjar will play Naresh’s love interest in the film, a production of Ammi Raju.
