Priyanka in Mary Kom's wedding dress

Vivacious Priyanka Chopra will be seen wearing the same wedding gown which Mary Kom had worn on her wedding. Ace designer Rajat requested Mary to give her wedding dress to replicate the same dress for Priyanka in her upcoming flick, Mary Kom.

Mary Kom's director, Omung, said, "In our film we had made it a point to be as authentic as possible and we knew that we had to shoot the wedding scene exactly the way Mary and Onler had married. So duplicating Onler's suit was not a problem but Mary outfit was difficult to duplicate, I briefed my designer Rajat to get the exact material as Mary's dress. I wanted the same motifs that were on her gown, we got all the details to the T. But finally when we were shooting in Dharamshala, we found out that the veil was not looking the same, so immediately I sent my guys to the market to get the exact transparent veil, which actually delayed my shoot, because they weren't getting the same one... But finally got it, and now if you compare the two gowns you won't find any difference between the original and the one we've designed for Priyanka. Even the bouquet she's holding is the same"
