Shruti with Alludu Seenu

Looks like producer Bellamkonda Suresh is leaving no stone unturned to ensure his son Sreenivas makes a mark in the industry. A big mark! While he roped in the likes of Samantha and VV Vinayak to be part of Sreenivass’ debut film, ‘Alludu Seenu’, which is doing exceptionally well in ‘B’ and ‘C’ centres across the two Telugu speaking states, it seems the actor’s second film is going to be on a scale larger than his first film.

A reliable source informs us that Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play the female lead in Sreenivas’ second film which will be helmed by commercial film specialist Boyapati Sreenu. “In fact Shruti was to do Boyapati’s ‘Dhammu’. She even participated in the muhurat of the film but backed out in the last minute. This time, she didn’t want to let go off an opportunity to work with him and when she liked the script that the director narrated to her, she gave her consent in principal,” adds the source.

The film will reportedly have the director’s signature action sequences and will portray Sreenivas in a typical Telugu hero style. Currently, the director is giving finishing touches to the script. It is expected to go on floors within a month’s time.
