Fresh from the success of ‘Alludu Seenu’, producer Bellamkonda Suresh, we hear, has offered Rs 8 crore to Boyapati Sreenu to direct his son Sreenivas up next. It is also learnt that the producer has paid the first installment (Rs 4 crore) to Boyapati who is on a high post the super show of ‘Legend’.
Chips in a source close to the development, “Boyapati’s films are commercial potboilers, where in, the hero takes the centre stage. His films ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’ have resurrected Bala Krishna’s sagging career besides raking in good moolah. With Bellamkonda keen on his son catering to the mass audience, the best possible option left to him was Boyapati who agreed to helm the project after hectic parleys over his pay cheque.”
The source adds, “This yet-untitled film will be a signature Boyapati actioner with oodles of comedy and drama.” The muhurat will take place on August 27 in Hyderabad. Must say, Bellamkonda is pulling out all stops to ensure that his son cements his place in the industry. Doting dad!
