Sahasasimha Vishnuvardhan's birth anniversary

It is the birth anniversary of one of the most talented actors in Sandalwood-Dr Vishnuvardhan. The late actor was endowed with titles such as Abhinava Bhargava and Sahasasimha for his fearless performance in movies.

He had a distinct style of his own and dialogue delivery too was not something that anyone could imitate. Fans would often compare him with Rajinikanth. Incidentally Rajini has shared screen space with Vishnu as a second hero before he went to Madras seeking Tamil films. Before he died, Vishnu even reprised the role of the Tamil superstar in several Kannada remakes of the Rajini movies.
