Actress and international recording artist ,Priyanka Chopra, who is one of the most celebrated Indian personalities on the global front ,was recently celebrated at TimesSquare, as she featured on a billboard for the cause of Climate Change along with some of the most popular personalities in the world.

Just a day after the People’s Climate March, one of the largest international environmental marches, a new analysis of 56 studies on climate change-related health problems shows that increasingly, global temperatures and severe weather events will continue to have a major impact on global health.Priyanka along with other celebrities feature as part of the campaign that currently stands proudly at Times Square- – iconified as "The Crossroads of the World"

She has also shot for a video for the UN climate change summit initiative with other big names like Al Gore, Alison Sudol, Binding Irwin, Ed Norton, Michael Bloomberg, Ian Somerhalder. People from around the world have participated in this...and from India the United Nations Assistant Secretary General Robert Orr's office had sent an invite to PC to participate.

Priyanka says, "It's not something that can be ignored any longer... Climate change is happening and it is our duty as a citizen of the world to sit up and make the necessary changes required. Its exciting to have the campaign run at timessquare which is quite literally the crossroads of the world and i hope it has a far reach. The protection of our environment is a cause that I strongly believe in and I am proud to join so many world leaders and celebrated global personalities in this effort to enhance awareness and create change. I am proud to represent India in this process of change.
